Dr. Michaelson earned her Doctorate in Audiology through a joint program between San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego. She is:

Research & Clinical Background
Her doctoral research focused on the effects of recreational noise exposure on hearing health—a topic she has presented both nationally and internationally, including at conferences in Europe.
She completed her clinical externship with the Department of Veterans Affairs in San Diego, where she provided comprehensive hearing care for veterans. Since then, she has continued her career in private practice, specializing in hearing aid fittings, technology support, and device repairs.
Outside of her audiology work, Dr. Michaelson enjoys embracing the great outdoors. She loves hiking and backpacking in Colorado’s beautiful wilderness, caring for her indoor “plant jungle,” and spending quiet time at home with her beloved cats.
